The new BM 1300/30-2 Center Rotor milling machine is the latest addition to BOMAG’s milling machine family. With a 51-inch working width, the BM 1300/30-2 features four pivoting tracks, "optimized drive geometry," and extended crawler-track columns to increase maneuverability. The new raised-undercarriage supports allow the undercarriage to be extended away from the milling track at full cutting depth, allowing the unit to be leveled on uneven ground or when milling trenches. The new milling machine is powered by a 300 horsepower diesel engine and features an ergonomic control panel.
