Bobcat T740 Compact Track Loader

Oct. 15, 2015

The vertical-lift-path Bobcat T740 compact track loader is powered by a diesel engine under 75 horsepower and does not require a diesel particulate filter (DPF) or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF).

As part of the M Series, its hydraulic system has higher standard flow and pressure for increased attachment performance. A 30.5-gpm high-flow hydraulic option is available to further boost machine productivity. Hydraulic pumps are matched to cylinder size and loader lift capacity to provide fast cycle times. Optional hydraulic bucket positioning keeps the bucket level when raising lift arms.

The Bobcat T470 undercarriage includes forged steel idlers and steel imbed tracks that are built for long service life with minimal maintenance. Solid-mounted drive motors and hydraulic hoses are better protected from debris, snags, vibrations, rubbing, mud and sticks. And rubber track options provide a smooth ride without impacting your capabilities.

Selectable Joystick Control (SJC) features fingertip switches and selectable control pattern. Fingertip controls enable the operator to control numerous machine functions without letting go of the joysticks. Operate a planer, trencher or tree spade with ease, or control the angle functions on the soil conditioner, angle broom or grader. Selectable control pattern provides flexibility to choose between ISO or H-Pattern, satisfying different operators with the flip of a switch.

More than 60 Bobcat attachments are approved for use with the Bobcat T740. A cab-forward design moves operators closer to the attachment and the work area and provides visibility in all directions, Bobcat says. Auxiliary quick couplers are mounted directly to the front plate of the lift arm to provide a solid mounting, and hoses are routed through the loader arms.
