The votes are in. According to our unofficial poll among the community of Construction Equipment followers, the Cat CT660 heavy truck was the most exciting machine introduced at Conexpo-Con/Agg 2011.
Our website poll registered 42 percent for the Cat truck, followed by 34 percent for the Deere 944K wheel loader. The other two products tied with 12 percent of the votes: Komatsu's hybrid excavator HB215LC-1 and Volvo's L250G wheel loader.
We posted a separate poll on our Facebook page, and received a different result. Terex LED light towers garnered the most votes, with 10, and the Cat truck and Deere loader each placed second, with 5 votes. The Facebook poll allowed voters to add products, hence the addition of the light towers.
No matter, it shows some passion for products, which we've always known our audience has.
