Scooptram EST1030 is an electric underground loader with an 11-ton capacity. It consumes about 40 percent less energy, produces 40 percent less heat, and has a lower noise level than its diesel counterparts. The 180-horsepower, 60 Hz, three-phase electric motor comes with overload protection and ground check. The Funk DF 250 electronic transmission provides automatic power shift from its integral converter with inching control for smooth and precise shifting. With a maximum operating temperature of 125 F and well-protected hydraulic hoses and hot surfaces, the EST1030 produces less heat than nonelectric models. Key safety features of the Scooptram EST1030 include spring-applied, hydraulically released (SAHR) brakes and ROPS/FOPS-approved cabin features. The electric Scooptram EST1030 shares 90 percent of its components with the diesel Scooptram ST1030.
