Atlas Copco QAS generator range

The largest model in Atlas Copco's QAS generator range, the QAS 600 is powered by a Volvo TAD 1641 GE diesel engine driving a Leroy Somer alternator. The generator set is rated at 575 kilovolt-amperes at the optimum 60 hertz, and has a standard 239-gallon fuel tank for continuous operation at full load for a complete work shift. A housing of zinc plated steel with power coat finish provides resistance against corrosion, as well as reduced noise levels, operating at 77 decibels at optimum output.
