Atlas Copco MB 1700

Sept. 28, 2010

For use with 18- to 34-metric-ton excavators, Atlas Copco's MB 1700 hydraulic breaker features the AutoControl monitoring system that adapts the frequency and power output to match operating conditions. The first stroke is fired at half-power to create a pilot notch that will center the tool and prevent slippage. Power output is then adjusted to match the density of the material to be broken.
