With the introduction of the 50-horsepower Scout SC-50, ASV applies its patented rubber-track undercarriage to the utility vehicle market. A combination of multiple bogie wheels and suspension disperses the vehicle weight across 15-inch-wide rubber tracks to give the 4,562-pound Scout SC-50 a ground pressure of only 2.56 pounds per square inch. Rated to carry up to 4,000 pounds, it has a 24-square-foot rear deck, and can be outfitted with an optional dump box with a 1.3-cubic-yard heaped capacity. An optional auxiliary hydraulic system powers front- or rear-mounted attachments. Estimated list price: $25,000 to $33,000.

ASV

Users of ASV's mid-sized machines now have the option of outfitting their machine with Extreme Terrain Tracks that are 1½ inches wider than standard 15-inch track, with more aggressive treads for added traction. The new tracks reduce machine ground pressure by 10 percent. Wider spacing between tread lugs makes them self-cleaning.
