    AEMP Telematics Standard

    The Association of Equipment Management Professionals Telematics Data Standard promises easier, more accurate, and quicker flow of machine data into asset-management systems. The standard allows fleets to import five key machine data points in a generic format into its fleet-management software system. Initial data points are: location, cumulative hours, cumulative fuel used, fuel used in the past 24 hours, and distance traveled.
