Wood Chippers

Introductions

Vermeer

Vermeer now offers its BC1000XL brush chipper with two diesel engine options: a 49-horsepower Cat C2.2L Tier 4a, or an 85-horsepower Cummins B3.3 Tier 3. Both options provide enough power to process material up to 12 inches in diameter. Other standard features include the SmartFeed system which monitors engine rpm and stops or reverses the rollers when feeding larger hardwood. The unit also features a steel hood for added durability on the job site and the relocation of the control panel to the rear of the machine for easier access. - 12/1/2009
