Rough Terrain Cranes

Introductions

Grove

The latest crane from the Manitowoc Crane Group’s facility in Niella Tanaro, Italy, is the 40-ton-capacity RT540E. It has a 102-foot, four-section boom and an offsettable telescopic swing-away jib that can reach 154 feet. Other features include a 5-ton counterweight, load moment, and anti-two block system. Dual-axis electric joysticks help reduce heat in the new, all-steel cab. - 9/1/2007 9:54:00 AM
