Crawler Excavators > 6 metric tonnes, or 13,200 lbs.

Introductions

Bobcat

In addition to an eight-metric-ton-class, full-sized excavator announced earlier, Bobcat will offer the 13,556-pound E60 rubber-tracked excavator that will compete in the six-metric-ton class. The E60 has a dig depth of 13 feet 7 inches and, like the larger E80, features a spacious cab with a seat that adjusts nine ways and a HVAC system with true automotive-style controls. Greasing intervals for boom, arm and bucket bushings, traditionally a daily task, have been extended to 250 hours. The E60 has a pin coupler system as standard and, as with the E80, comes clamp-ready.  - 7/1/2009
